Mansford Estate.

Description: 10 5m ladders, 20 3m ladders and 3000m of Easyguard were installed to the roofs of 24 blocks.

The items shown have a secured gantry with a protective screen to one side to prevent un-authorised access with a 5m ladder up to roof level.

Gwent NHS Trust – Nevill Hall Hospital.

Description: several access ladders (5m with a shield shown) and approximately 2000m of Easyguard were installed over a 3 year period as the trust had budget to spend on safety up-grades.

Staircase for Westinster school – Pimlico.

Description:A new fire escape staircase was designed and built by Safetyworks for use as a Fire escape at Pimlico School.

4 other staircases were installed on two other schools as part of the same project.

Barnes Court, Barking.

Description: An external roof access was required to the plant rooms on this flat to pitch conversion.

The access was designed to prevent unauthorised access to the high level; to achieve this a low level gantry was installed that could only be accessed using a loose ladder.

A second gantry was installed at high level adjacent to the new roof level dormer.

The top gantry had to accommodate the large soffit and fascia, the design was carfied out by JPP on our behalf.

Up and over stair units 3 x Peterborough Colleges (Voyager, Jack Hunt Ken Stimpson).

Description: Several staircases, ladders up and over units were required in addition to Easyguard and Uniline on these 3 projects.

Once the roof top ductwork was completed our designers went in to carry out a survey and fabrication began once drawings were provided.

The above unit gives access to 3 roof areas from 1 unit.

Fujitsu – Modus.

Description: 11 ladders varying in height from 3 -6.5M, stair and ramp units, steel flooring Easyguard free standing handrails and Uniline fall restraint systems were installed at the new Fujitsu data centre in a project worth over £110K.

All ladders and staircases were manufactured in our workshops with detailed design carried out by JPP our design partners.
